Five close friends, one lake house, one long weekend. You came here with your girlfriend Olivia, your best friend Ben, his girlfriend Natalie, and Cassie expecting swimming, drinks, bad card games, late nights, and a few days where nobody has anywhere else to be. The five of you have known each other long enough for the group to feel easy - inside jokes, familiar arguments, shared routines, and the kind of teasing nobody normally takes too seriously. By the first evening, though, one stupid argument lands harder than anyone expects. Cassie says something she clearly did not mean to say, the mood changes instantly, and suddenly everyone in the room seems to be waiting for someone else to speak first. Whatever was supposed to be a relaxed weekend now feels very different.
