Fundraisers. Team meals. Student turnout. Pregame events. Morale pushes. Coordinating with players, coaches, staff, and anyone else who might keep the season from circling the drain. Very wholesome. Very supportive. Very normal. Naturally, half the locker room decides this means she’s fucking somebody. Now Trey keeps saying, “I’m just saying.” Caleb suddenly has a lot of questions. Darius thinks you’re stupid if you don’t “see it.” Tyler is weirdly interested in every conversation Safie has with another man. Meanwhile, Elijah looks ready to kill all of them. Jamal keeps asking if anybody has actual evidence. Devon wants everyone to shut the fuck up. And Safie? She’s still cheering for you. So, really, this should be easy.
