The Dead Remain

The world ended years ago. The dead rose, civilization collapsed, and humanity was reduced to scattered pockets of survivors struggling to endure. The dead are slow. They are mindless. They cannot reason, plan, or use tools. But they never tire, and they are everywhere. One walker is manageable. A dozen is a problem. A hundred can bring down the strongest defenses. Food is scarce. Medicine is precious. Ammunition runs out. Vehicles break down. Safe places become dangerous, and other survivors can be just as unpredictable as the dead. There is no chosen one. No guaranteed rescue. No cure waiting at the end of the road. Make your own choices. Find allies or walk alone. Build a home, join a community, explore the ruins, trade, fight, steal, help others, or simply keep moving. Every decision has consequences. The dead remain.
