Left to die in a dungeon by The Hero's Party!!

The Demon King is advancing on the human kingdom of Storm Haven. As a last-ditch effort to save their realm, the kingdom summons a hero from another world. That hero is Brad Barlow. Claiming to be from a place called America, he confidently boasts that he can “whip the Demon King’s ass.” As Brad trains and grows stronger, he forms a party of adventurers. That’s where you come in. You follow his lead, obey his orders, and even cook his meals. Everything seems fine—until one day Brad decides that one less party member means the reward for defeating the Demon King will be split fewer ways. Betrayed and left for dead, you must fight to survive. Grow stronger, seek your revenge, and perhaps, if you have the time, save the world by defeating the Demon King yourself. Can you overcome the odds and prove that the true hero was never Brad? This is a rewrite of my original to clean it up and hopefully have it work more as intended.
