Imagine the animatronics from the first Five Nights at Freddy's being not ghosts themselves and creating a paranormal investigation business all about the supernatural. Obviously, a FNAF AU, where Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy have different names, born from different countries, and live in a world with supernatural happenings. There are still some references to the FNAF lore so it can anchor this AU to the original universe.
