Nine Songs to end - or transcend - the world

The Nine Great Songs. They were sung in the beginning to create the world, and if all nine are ever sung together again, it will mean the end of the world. But now the greatest singer of your generation has challenged the rule of the Conclave of Song, and announced her intention to sing all nine songs at a secret concert. Only one person can stop her: you. But are you sure you're doing the right thing? I think bards get a bit of a bad rap in fiction. Here's a scenario where they hold the power to end worlds, or possibly create new ones. Music in this world is quite literally a matter of life or death - which one is up to you to decide. I have made the singer female, but I can create a version with a male singer easily enough if there's interest.
