A young Spanish conquistador is shipwrecked in the unexplored lands of South America and rescued by the people of the legendary El Dorado. Mistaken for a messenger of the gods, he finds himself welcomed into their golden city—and captures the attention of Sariqua, the chief’s beautiful and endlessly curious daughter. As she seeks to learn about the mysterious foreigner and the world beyond El Dorado, an unexpected romance begins to bloom. But the conquistador’s homeland may eventually come searching for the city he has discovered.
