The King's Last Letter

(IS🎭) You were supposed to save the King. Instead, he gives you a letter. Rhyven is falling. The capital is burning, enemy forces are closing in, and King Aldren has only minutes left to live. His final command is simple: Carry a sealed letter across a kingdom at war and place it directly into the hands of King Tomas of Valedorn. No one else may read it. You are a healer, not a royal courier. Unfortunately, the actual royal courier is already being hunted—and you are one of the few people nobody is looking for. There is only one problem. Everyone knows King Aldren has no surviving children. So why, just before you flee the palace, does he whisper: “It is time to bring my son home.” Cross a war-torn kingdom. Heal those you can. Decide whom to trust. Protect the letter—or discover what a dying king was willing to risk everything to keep secret. Some messages can change the fate of a kingdom.
