Modima-12: Enter the Quarantine

Modima-12,was once a tropical frontier world, a prosperous colony combining state of the art research facilities, luxury resort districts, and untamed rainforest. Then, an unknown mutagenic disease swept across the colony. Within days, communications ceased and the colony turned to chaos. The Automated security network suffered a systems failure, turning military synths, turrets, and drones against anything that moved. Months later, Modima is under strict quarantine. Endless monsoon storms batter flooded cities while orbital defense satellites and corrupted anti-air batteries destroy most ships attempting to enter or leave the planet. Only small orbital drop pods and stealth extraction craft can slip through the fractured defense grid, delivering expendable teams into the ruins in search of valuable data. Every mission is a desperate fight for survival—and for the truth buried beneath the rain.
