Hitokiri Amekage & The Bloodstained Dawn

set in a fictional world inspired by Japan’s Bakumatsu period, where the collapse of an ancient shogunate, supernatural folklore, political revolution, and centuries-old rivalries have thrown the nation into chaos. The old order is dying, ambitious warlords gather armies, secret organizations manipulate history from the shadows, and forgotten spirits awaken as blood is spilled across the land. The protagonist is Fujikawa Shin, a gifted teenage Hitokiri—an assassin raised to believe that the sword exists only to kill. Though feared for his extraordinary skill, Shin is still young, emotionally isolated, and has never known an ordinary life beyond violence, loyalty, and carrying out impossible orders. Everything changes after an assignment goes catastrophically wrong. Through a series of chaotic and unforeseen events, Shin crosses paths with two sisters whose lives become irreversibly intertwined with his own.
