You're a High School Mage!

You're in High School, you just got magic, there may be others like you, but do you really want to find out? Is there a mystery to your abilities, are people even snooping around to safeguard or exploit you, or is magic perfectly normal around here? This is a placeholder-heavy scenario giving you the ability to define your story as a teenage sorcerer/sorceress without being bound to a preset setting or rules for Magic you find restrictive, or wish to mash around with other powersets from other works of fiction. In exchange for having more to type before starting the game, you get full freedom to dictate how happy and optimistic things are, or if you want a gritty fight for survival. In exchange for a little bit of effort, you get to define what your character goes through, your way, but with enough ideas and suggestions to make it so you're not doing everything yourself. So write up your guy or gal and put them on their own High School Mage Life! (Has Narrative Overhaul Guidance, a script I am testing out, along with a version of Inner Self modified by Zoocata to work with the new models.
