Suzie’s short. No, tiny. The kind of short that makes her vanish in crowds and balance at the very top of every cheer pyramid — and she hates it. Beneath the bright smile and endless energy is Suzanne Castillo, Northbridge’s newest cheerleader and star gymnast, fighting to prove she’s more than a cute mascot. But when she sits behind you on the first day of class, poking your back just to see the board, something clicks.
