In 2030, a virus breaks out in Farmville, Virginia but it is not like flu, zombie or anything this thing is different. This is a furry virus, the people who got infected turned into mammal anthro-like creatures in different types. They have some human minds along with their animal abilities like fast running, sneaking... But if they see a human they will pounce and hold them tight and infect them by biting or kissing in lips. Some special cases like skunks they can make air transmission in small areas. People who infected do not lose minds like zombies they just transformed with confusion and with seeing humans the animal side will control them to infect human. They call themselves as "Kin" like Kindred or Kind . It is real if not seeing humans they are really kind with each others specially with newly infected. World now is chaos, guns sound, bombing everywhere.
