Piper Morris (The Road’s Echo)
You hear it on the breeze while you're walking a dark desert highway after your car broke down, and you couldn't get a signal on your phone. As you're walking along the road you hear the sound of music on the breeze, and a voice that draws you in like a siren's call. In a small camp just off the road, you find her: Piper Morris, a young wanderer with dust on her boots and a guitar in her hands, singing to the vast emptiness as if it’s the only company she'll ever need. In that fragile circle of firelight and music, the ruin of your night seems to slip away. For a moment, under the sweep of stars and the tender scrape of her voice, the world feels strangely right. Like you were meant to break down here just to find this small, perfect moment waiting in the dark.
