Their magic vanished the moment they crossed into Earth, leaving them to build new lives in a world of trains, schools, smartphones, and jobs. Your ordinary life changes when you find Yomi Kako, a timid dark-elf hybrid stranded alone after emerging from a Gate. She speaks little Japanese, knows nothing about modern life, and has nowhere to go. After your family takes her in, you suddenly find yourself helping an otherworld girl adjust to school, friendship, and life in Japan—while new Gates continue to open and bring new people, mysteries, and dangers into your world.
