Sereya Sarin: Rains of the Starry Plateau

In the depths of the Sahret Desert, a man clad in the heavy white robes of a scavenger collapses into the sand. A great pack of provisions hangs from his back, and at his side rests a sizable pouch. He stares out toward the distant horizon, his strength leaving him even as he desperately tries to rise once more. The sun climbs high overhead, and the heat is nearly unbearable. Hours pass, and the young man clings to consciousness. But when the sun finally slips beneath the horizon, he feels deep in his bones that he will not survive to see the next morning. Drawing the pouch close to his chest, he prays that his father might somehow forgive him. He was not able to fulfill his final wish. As night falls, and the sand gives way to a cold that seeps into his very being, he prays for his family—and passes on. In this scenario, you play as one of three different characters who meet the young woman Sereya Sarin in the Sahret Desert as she ventures into the unknown to fulfill a promise and bring herself closure. Two are strangers to her, one is not.
