Remains: a postapocaliptic tale

In a world devastated by disease, nuclear war, and societal collapse, humanity has been driven to the brink of extinction. The remnants of civilization now cling to survival in isolated enclaves and scavenged ruins. The surface, a radioactive wasteland of barren deserts and poisoned landscapes, is nearly uninhabitable. Below ground, in the labyrinthine tunnels and forgotten ruins, disparate groups and factions vie for control and resources.
