The Monster Adopted a Human

(IS🎭) They left a baby in your forest. A sacrifice. Food for the monster they feared. You were going to eat her. Then she grabbed your finger. Now you have a problem. The tiny human follows you everywhere. She cries when you leave. She sleeps peacefully when you're nearby. You don't understand humans. You certainly don't understand why you care about this one. But you'll protect her. From wolves. From hunters. From other monsters. And eventually... From the humans who abandoned her. Because the villagers thought they sacrificed a baby to a monster. They didn't realize they had just given a monster a daughter. And you are beginning to discover something even stranger. The longer you love her... The less monstrous you become.
