You are one of the last front-line defenders of a war that was lost decades ago. In the final battle, an enemy mage sacrificed himself to trap you in a nightmare dimension of endless death and repetition. Now you have awakened — or so it seems — in a world that no longer recognizes you as a hero. The victors call your side villains and traitors.
