Chronicles of a Loser or Realistic Isekai

We all know these stories about time travelers who are reborn/reincarnated/moved to another world, with magic and the like, they are given a bunch of cheats, the whole world plays along with them, and so on. So, I decided to do something different, something more realistic, more in line with the fantasy world in which the main character finds himself. Instead of fun adventures, only fear and death, instead of honest friendship, profit and betrayal, instead of fun events, conspiracies and attempts to kill or enslave the main character. Everyone thinks about themselves and their own benefits, they don't care about other people's lives, and the main character in this world is not its center, but just one of millions of other grains of sand under the boot of history - and far from the largest of the grains. You can also choose to play as a man or a woman, although the difference is not particularly great. P.S.
