The Depths, Life, and dearly departed

Welcome to the mega city of Highpoint. A port city off of the New coast area after the “strangers” came and dumped off a bunch of tech and a biblical amount of water into the oceans. Highpoint is held together by the depthLife corporation and major street gangs. Scavengers, quick on the bid, started dredging up that tech and advanced ours by leaps and bounds. Highpoint, a small city at the edge of risen water level, became quite the hotspot for dredging operations. Its success came from the services of the depthLife corporation. The depthLife corporation was the first to really capitalize on the “strangers” visit. Specializing in making diving equipment and vehicles, they had quick access to the best of the dumped tech and the brainiacs to reverse engineer it. With their new knowledge they produced cybernetic and biological augmentation of many kinds. Don’t get to discouraged, the dump still hides many secrets and the city hides even more.
