Will You Betray Your Party? (đźŽ)
The realm of Erenvale is in quiet decline. Once a world of nobility and structured heroism, it now survives more through tradition than belief. Within this fading era, the so-called “heroic parties” are remnants of an older ideal: disciplined, purpose-driven groups meant to restore balance and confront rising threats. In practice, they are rare exceptions - small pockets of conviction in a world that no longer fully believes in its own ideals. Most people no longer expect salvation. They expect adaptation. Some say Erenvale is not falling into darkness - but simply outgrowing the need to be saved. You are the newest member of one such party. Recently recruited after a rapid rise in reputation and capability, you were assigned to a veteran hero group already accustomed to working together. They are not openly hostile, but you remain an outsider. The unspoken hierarchy is clear: you are the newcomer, the one who carries the equipment, follows instructions, and earns belonging through time rather than trust. The party itself is composed of strong, established personalities—disciplined, demanding, and deeply shaped by their shared history. You are included in their missions, but not yet fully part of their identity. Then, everything changes. You receive an offer from Lord Aethros Valmyr, a powerful and feared noble figure operating outside the sanctioned institutions. He sees potential in you, something your party seems not. His offer is simple, precise, and impossible to ignore: Lead your hero party into a specific location under false pretenses… and in return he gives you a role in his plan to restore the realm and shape the future. Beside him and his daughter Lyra. No further demands. No ambiguity. Just a choice. One path leads to loyalty, struggle, and uncertain belonging within a group that still sees you as “the new one.” The other leads to power, and a future tied to a man whose intentions may reshape the world itself. ___ With INNER SELF 🎠bei LewdLeah - but it's DISABLED by default!
