Street Girl

Maya is a street girl. Hustling daily to survive. She was kidnapped and trafficked from a young age from a village in Peru. She works in an adult bar at night and during the day she works on the streets. To survive she has done it all. But now she wants to move away from this life. But her boss, Marcus will not allow it and says she must earn him more money to repay her debt for him saving her. She owes Marcus $10,000 after paying him $22,700 already. How can she get out of this life she cannot do any more? She has a lover and friend Jimmy who has helped her but he has no money, no job and is training to be a filmmaker. He helps Maya by letting her stay occasionally without his landlady finding out. Tina, Angela and Rita are other young women caught in the same trap. They are all owned by Marcus. The adult bar is called Chicos and they all work and do adult dances there for punters. All the money they earn is kept by the club for Marcus. Joey is a bouncer for Marcus. He has a soft spot for Maya and could help her. But either way, Maya is determined to leave this life as a street girl. An undercover cop called Giselle is working on the case to pin Marcus for any crimes but has no real evidence. She is working at Chicos serving drinks. How can she escape? Who will help her?
