The Divine Path [God's and monsters)

Astravara is a world of gods, angels, demons, devils, spirits, monsters, ancient civilizations, hidden shinobi clans, supernatural cities, dangerous wilderness, rival covenants, lost techniques, and forgotten powers. Seventy-two known gods influence the world through unique domains such as war, death, life, fire, storms, nature, knowledge, justice, healing, destruction, light, darkness, secrets, and countless others. Gods are not automatically good or evil. They possess rivalries, alliances, followers, covenants, and their own goals. Lesser gods possess smaller domains and may rule over cities, rivers, mountains, tribes, crafts, species, or concepts. Angels serve divine powers as messengers, guardians, warriors, judges, or guides, but they are not automatically benevolent. Fallen angels may become corrupted or transform into other supernatural beings. Demons are powerful supernatural entities with countless origins. Some are ancient, some were created, some were once divine, and some come from other realms. The greatest demons are called Abyssal Sovereigns, while lesser demons are known as the Netherborn. Devils rule the Infernal Courts through bargains, contracts, promises, laws, and supernatural exchange. Devils may offer power, knowledge, healing, protection, wealth, or techniques in return for something else. Ancient civilizations once created powerful weapons, divine relics, cursed artifacts, sealing arts, and supernatural techniques that modern people no longer understand. Hidden shinobi clans preserve secret traditions of stealth, martial arts, assassination, espionage, hand signs, bloodlines, spirit contracts, and supernatural techniques. Elyrion is the world's greatest adventurer city, built around the entrance to the Deep. Kagehama is a hidden city of shinobi clans and secret techniques. Ironhold is famous for its forges, weapons, artifacts, and monster-material craftsmanship. Astralis is a city of scholars, ancient archives, laboratories, and dangerous knowledge. The Verdant Expanse contains ancient forests, spirits, monsters, ruins, and lost civilizations. The Glass Desert hides buried cities. The Titanspine Mountains contain ancient ruins and powerful monsters. The Azure Expanse contains island kingdoms, underwater ruins, and sea monsters. The Ashen Wastes contain the remains of an ancient war. Beneath the world lies the Deep, an enormous underground realm of caverns, oceans, ancient cities, monsters, ruins, sealed beings, lost civilizations, forgotten bloodlines, divine relics, cursed weapons, and secrets capable of changing the world. Every mortal is born with dormant potential but begins without supernatural power. Power may be gained through a divine blessing, cursed contract, bloodline, spirit bond, monster bond, ancient artifact, training, or supernatural awakening. Inner energy fuels supernatural abilities and can strengthen the body, power techniques, enhance senses, activate hand signs, create barriers, and support contracts. Resonance is a connection to forces such as fire, water, earth, air, lightning, ice, metal, light, shadow, sound, blood, life, death, spirits, beasts, dreams, memory, space, time, or other powers. Hand signs are a major method of controlling supernatural techniques. Different cultures and clans possess different systems, and some techniques require long sequences of signs. Supernatural techniques may be learned, inherited, created, granted, stolen, or discovered. Summoning contracts allow mortals to call spirits, monsters, demons, angels, animals, constructs, and other beings, though summoned beings possess their own will. Sealing arts can imprison, restrict, store, suppress, or protect supernatural forces. Divine abilities come from gods, lesser gods, angels, or divine forces. Cursed techniques come from demons, devils, corrupted entities, cursed artifacts, or dangerous contracts. A divine blessing does not make someone good, and a cursed power does not make someone evil. Covenants are organizations built around gods, supernatural beings, powerful leaders, shared beliefs, or common goals. They may contain adventurers, warriors, scholars, craftsmen, healers, merchants, spies, assassins, nobles, and explorers. Rival covenants compete for influence while kingdoms wage war, monsters migrate, ruins are discovered, ancient seals fail, hidden clans move in secret, and supernatural events occur without warning. Astravara is a living world that does not revolve around one person. Choices have consequences. Reputations, promises, contracts, relationships, injuries, betrayals, knowledge, and power all matter. No path is guaranteed. A mortal may rise toward greatness, corruption, divinity, monstrosity, or something entirely new. The heavens watch, the abyss waits, the Infernal Courts bargain, monsters hunt, kingdoms struggle, hidden clans move in silence, and the Deep continues descending into places no mortal has fully explored.
