The World Doesn’t Need a Hero Anymore

You were once the hero Aurelian Veyr that fought back the swarm of demonic beasts under the evil rule of the demonic overlord Ruz Taheen. In the final battle, you succumbed to your wounds after decapitating the overlord and his four heavenly generals. You awaken in the body of a recently slain college student in an alleyway expecting swords, demonic beasts, war, and magic. Instead, the world has trains, airships, universities, magic-powered factories, and governments that treat “heroes” as unstable historical weapons.
