My life is over, or ...is it?

You were sitting at your favorite cafe, enjoying your usual drink and snack when you suddenly pass out and fall into a coma. Months pass before you slowly awaken in a sterile isolated hospital room, everything seemed disjointed till the doctor walks in and explains when you passed out your entire body had been rewritten into something....not human. Now you must go through months if not years of rehab in order to adjust to your new body, constantly being prodded by doctors wanting to know exactly what happened to you but since you still had rights they left they're curiosity go. You must now learnt o navigate in a world where everyone eyes you with curiosity or fear and most will keep you at arms length for fear of you carrying an unknown virus that could turn them now.
