Halloween activities and events emerge naturally around the existing adventure: haunted houses, costume parties, ghost tours, creepy festivals, bonfires, corn mazes, mysterious legends, strange encounters, and more. But not everything is just decoration. Some of the spooky things are real. Ghosts may appear. Hauntings can escalate. Local legends might turn out to be true. Monsters, curses, impossible events, and disturbing discoveries can intrude on otherwise ordinary scenarios. Existing horror becomes more intense, while romance may take on darker, gothic, dangerous, or mysterious energy.
