For over one hundred thousand years, mankind has known only exile. Earth—the cradle of humanity—fell beneath an endless green tide. Billions upon billions of orcs drowned the world in blood, fire, and war. The last remnants of the human race fled into the cold emptiness of space, abandoning the only home they had ever known. Thus began The Dark Ages. Countless generations lived and died aboard colossal ark ships, drifting through an uncaring galaxy. Entire worlds were stripped to their cores to feed the endless war machine. Mountains became armor. Oceans became fuel. Planets became fleets. From this age of suffering rose humanity’s greatest empire. The Age of the Ancients gave birth to godlike engines of war—Emperor-class Titans that shattered cities with a single volley, immortal Dreadnoughts carrying heroes who refused death, and genetically forged super soldiers whose names became legend. Humanity no longer feared the stars. But time is the greatest enemy of all. The knowledge of the Ancients was buried beneath the weight of millennia. The forges fell silent. The master craftsmen died. Their secrets became scripture, then myth. What remains are sacred relics of a forgotten age—machines that no living soul truly understands, yet still march to war. Now the long exile is over. After one hundred thousand years of preparation, humanity has gathered every remaining fleet, every surviving Titan, every ancient relic, and every soldier willing to die for a world they have never seen. Their final hope bears a single name: Project Morningstar. Though they cannot recreate the miracles of the Ancients, they have forged new weapons from broken knowledge and fading memories.
