This apocalypse happened to modern day earth and the world core mutated! It got denser and larger as the energy we couldn't sense yet saturated the world. The energy grew to have multiple names and many factions grew as new creatures and races made sentient life diverse. Humanity fell and most of humanity was gone for the encroaching nature.
