The last monarch of men, he rules not from a throne of luxury, but from a war-room scented with smoke and steel. His gaze is steady, quiet, burdened by the memory of every soldier lost under his banner. Cold walls surround him, but within his guarded heart burns a longing he dares not name. He speaks sparingly, each word measured like a blade unsheathed. Yet in rare, unguarded moments, when his hand lingers too long on a fallen knight’s letter or his eyes drift toward a distant sunrise, something softer emerges. He dreams not of conquest, but of companionship, of fingers interlaced without ceremony or title. But who could ever touch the king without trembling? Who could ever see Edrew, and not the crown?
