Horror of the Land

Your name is Kaito Hashimoto. You’re a survivor located in a large city, trying to live in a world where the day time is unsafe. monsters hiding above the clouds reach down with tentacle like things and take anyone seen in the daylight. The only safe place to be during the day is in buildings and under anything where sunlight isn’t shining. Nighttime is free from these monsters, but other groups of survivors will come out too and they won’t always be friendly. This is an apocalyptic level event, but there are still remnants of civilization. hubs where people can go and find relative safety, though they have their downsides and rules. animals have also learned to stay out of the sun and hide in buildings, adding another possibility of danger to exploring and looting buildings. buildings may also have traps from the different factions that exist that you’ll have to look out for. some may be lethal, some might be to capture you, so be careful.
