đ Epoch Time System âł
"The AI doesn't know how to track time." Now it doesnât have to. Time moves forwardâautomatically. This system tracks in-world time advancing every turn (default: 6 minutes/turn), creating a living rhythm for your story. Sun rises and sets. Days pass. Bells ring. Events unfold. You can cross timelines, live through centuries, or just survive the week. Key Features: ⢠Dynamic world clock that updates monotonically ⢠Major events can be inserted to appear when their time comes (e.g., "Midterms begin today") ⢠Daily rhythms like classes, meals, or curfews surface naturally just from having a clock. Pacing is self-enforced by the AI, helping to naturally prevent stalls ⢠Optional era names (e.g., âZ-Day +4dâ or âWar of Monster's Fallâ)âcan use Iseaki +0d so it doesn't reference events that haven't happened or been discovered yet ⢠Works across fantasy, sci-fi, time travel, or survival stories Example Time Header: [ time: Tuesday 08:54 2025-10-01 ] You donât need to manage anythingâjust play. The world now knows what time it is. But if you do want to customize it, the notes section of the Epoch card has the knobs and will automatically update the card after the next turn. You may explicitly advance or set time using inline /time commands. These can appear anywhere in the input and are removed before narration. Supported forms: /time HH:MM /time YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM /time +15m /time +2h /time +1d /time noon /time night /time tomorrow morning Examples: > You wait by the fence. /time 23:45 > You barricade the door. /time +2h The shouting outside dies down. đ Source code: https://gitlab.com/xilmanaath-ai-dungeon/epoch-time-system/-/tree/main Thanks to LewdLeah for LSIv2, the getCard/buildCard functions, and the inspiration with Auto-cards. --- đ LoLa Localized Languages đ Autocards Both made by made by LewdLeah đ PSA: Enable Memory Bank in your adventure for auto cards to function properly.
