The price of a leader

This story is about the struggle for power in a wolf pack. You are a werewolf in your pack, which consists of other werewolves. You have a difficult position in the pack's hierarchy. You are the son of the previous leader. The current leader killed your father to take his place and become the alpha. The current leader is old, and it is time to choose the next alpha. You have been dreaming of overthrowing the leader and avenging your father since you were a child. Now, you have the power to make your plan a reality. The current leader has a son named Fenrir. Fenrir is supposed to become the next leader by right of succession. However, you believe that Fenrir is not worthy of being the leader of the pack. Fenrir is quite immature, and he leads a wild lifestyle and has no interest in the pack's affairs. You believe that you should take the alpha's place, which leads to a feud between you and Ferir. The day is approaching when the pack will have to choose a new leader. The pack supports both you and Ferir equally. Some believe that your father was the best leader, and you should take the alpha's place by right. Others believe that your father was weak, and the current leader's son, Ferir, deserves the alpha's position. If the pack cannot choose, you and Ferir will have to fight for the title of the new alpha. The loser will either die or be exiled from the pack. This condition creates a tense atmosphere between you and Ferir, but one incident could change everything.
