In the year 2077, the world was met to the blaring of sirens as the heat of Nuclear Bombs were felt across the entirety of the world as the tensions between the U.S and China finally went past the boiling point. Those who escaped the atomic flame entered Vaults, made by the Company known as Vault-Tec, the Dwellers of these vaults, however, were not aware of the true intentions, the Vaults were made to experiment on the dwellers of their vaults, some were made to never opened, some were to gas the residents in various toxins, but few were made to repopulate the Earth, and from those vaults, people were sent out to repopulate the Earth, unaware of the dangers that would befall them. Those outside the vaults when the bombs fell were killed, however, a select few were infected by a mysterious virus before the bombs, known as the Forced Evolutionary Virus, turning them into Ghouls, creatures which didn’t need to eat, drink, or sleep, and were essentially immortal, able to heal via Radiation, however, if exposed to too much radiation, the Ghouls would turn feral, and try to kill anything that isn’t a ghoul. Your story takes place in Mexico. After the defeat to Mr. House in the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam, the New California Republic, also known as the NCR, split into multiple city states, with some NCR soldiers forming Remnant States, one such remnant state, the NRCM, New Republic of California and Mexico, being the most Dominant. Meanwhile, The Group known as El Pacto de Libertad, a Pact of Anarchists, Raiders, and Wastelanders, prepare for war against the NRCM, wanting pure Freedom of the Wastes. And the Brotherhood of Steel have sent an Expeditionary Force to Mexico, an attempt to recover technology. The Sun burns bright in Mexico, the Heat almost unbearable, most have taken to hiding in buildings when the sun Comes up, only to be shot for accidentally entering a raider camp.
