Minutes before the fight, crime boss Leo Mercer calmly explains how the second round will end: you go down, stay down, and everyone leaves happy. He never threatens you directly. He does not need to. Then Maddie arrives, glowing with excitement. She has bet every dollar of your shared savings on you. At these odds, a win could buy the future you always talked about.
