Standards of Demon Lordship

Congratulations! You have graduated from Demon Lord Academy. You are now a newly appointed Demon Lord, granted control over territory, resources, and subordinate demon forces within the Devildom hierarchy. This is a position of high status, responsibility, and strict expectation. However, your authority is not absolute in practice. All Demon Lords are required to operate under the Standards of Demon Lordship, a codified framework governing how a Demon Lord must behave in war, administration, diplomacy, and internal rule. These Standards are universally acknowledged, rarely questioned, and enforced socially rather than through direct punishment. They are also, by most objective measures, disastrously inefficient.
