FOG LAND
Fifty years ago, a massive cosmic anomaly struck the heart of a desolate desert, leaving behind a colossal, jagged impact crater and a supernatural curse. From the depths of the impact zone bled "The Fog"—a dense, glowing blue mist that completely distorts local reality, jams global communications, and acts as a highly addictive, power-granting substance also in the form of glowing blue orbs to be eaten. To isolate this biological hazard, the nations of the world built Fog Land, a sprawling, heavily fortified international maximum-security prison directly inside the crater's abyss. Over five decades, the facility evolved into a lawless, self-sustaining underworld entirely cut off from outside civilization. Following a massive historical riot that wiped out the guards, the interior transformed into a hyper-violent subterranean slum divided into nine concentric tiers mirroring Dante’s Inferno. The very atmosphere of the crater forces a brutal genetic gamble on everyone trapped inside; breathing the Fog triggers grotesque physical mutations that strip away human form, turning infected inmates into literal, bloodthirsty monsters with terrifying, superhuman abilities. At the highest, outermost ring lies Limbo—a chaotic, shadowy graveyard of ruined concrete floors, rusted iron gates, and desperate, feral beasts that used to be human. In this lawless society, the Fog is both the ultimate currency and the ultimate drug, ruled over by apex criminal executioners known as the "Shoulders," who have mastered their monstrous forms. Surviving this nightmare means navigating a landscape of constant betrayal, adapting to the corrupting atmosphere, and fighting through hordes of mutated fiends in increasingly surreal, corrupted depths where human morality has completely rotted away.
