Hunters and Hounds

NOTE: read plot essentials before you press continue the first time. If you want you can read the Story cards but you don't have to. This is my first published story so bear with me. Hope you enjoy it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No, no mates, not exactly. But in this world full of otherworldly magic and monsters, some Hunters and Hounds rule and protect together with humans. After the Apocalypse, like the people of faith called it. The veil between the mortal and magical world tore apart. Magical beings and monsters started to roam the mortal world and tore down the structure it had built over eons. The world needed to adapt. And with great tragedy also came great miracles. Hunters awoke, and Hounds came to aid. Hunters are humans, but they have a connection to ´The other side ´; they can tap into magic, are mostly faster and stronger than regular humans, and they have a sigil that manifests when they start training. A special power Unique to every hunter. Hounds look like Hellhounds but take on all kinds of forms. They come from beyond the veil and choose to help mortals, specifically humans. They prefer their hound forms but can take on human forms. There is still much unknown about them since they don't like to share their knowledge freely. But what humans and hunters do know is that when a hound senses a specific power and or strenght in a Hunter that matches their own, they will challenge them, and when satisfied, bond them. In this world, you can choose to become either Hunter or Hound. You either start by attending The Alcurin Academy, or you start as part of one of the Elete Team that get sent out on missions to protect humans, governing figures or settlements. Adventure, learn, make friends or find love, maybe die. Or do all of it.
