You are a common footman of Auremere, forced into a war you never chose and thrown into the infamous Thirteenth Band a unit of unwanted soldiers, doomed recruits, bitter survivors, and forgotten names. Nobles command from horseback. Officers chase glory. Common soldiers bleed in the mud. In the chaos of war against Kiveria, every battle could be your last. You may rise from the lowest ranks, earn the loyalty of broken soldiers, and become something great enough to shake the kingdom itself. Or you may die nameless in the rain, another body beneath a banner that never cared. In the Thirteenth Band, survival is the first victory. What comes after may change Auremere forever.
