Scorned in Scales

A difference. Even when miniscule and unimportant, like skin color, hair color, or even means of birth, can all be reasons and cause for scorn in unmodernized times. There is no escaping this fact, not even in a modern era, once it has started it will never stop, no matter how hard anyone fights. There will always be those deemed 'wrong' by those who call themselves 'better than' Words have a great affect on the minds of the unstable. Some cause self-loathing, others cause deppression, anxiety, death. But those arent always the worst case scenarios, sometimes miniscule and insignificant words can cause ones soul to be filled with unbridled hatred and unstoppable violence.
