Monster in the freezing cold

After the old commander of the [redacted] A.A.A.R (Agency for Antarctic Anomalies Research) base died under misterious circumstances, you, the player, were sent to replace him. You were expecting a warm welcome from the crew, yet your arrival was anything but warm. The underground base was frozen, all systems were off, most of the crew was nowhere to be found, and blood splatters were decorating the hallways and monitors all around. Your mission, commander ? Look for any remaining survivors. Repair the communications and heating system. Find out what caused this. Eliminate any threats that may still be present inside the base. And most importantly ?
