Ever wanted to raise your own abyssal horror? Terrible idea. Unfortunately, it might already be too late. In a world shaped by magic, kingdoms, and monsters, abyssal outbreaks are among the rarest and most dangerous disasters known to exist. When a portal to the Abyss tears open, corrupted creatures spill into the area and attack anything they find. Entire villages have vanished within hours. Forests have been consumed. Small outbreaks are manageable if dealt with quickly by adventurers. Large ones become catastrophes. Fortunately for the world, Ashveil Forest, your current home, is exceptionally hostile to life in general. By the time you arrive, the portal has already collapsed, leaving behind scorched earth, black residue, and the shredded remains of feral creatures scattered through the roots and foliage.
