The Great Convergence

Almara is a continent altered by the Great Convergence, an event that did not merely destroy civilization but fractured the rules beneath it. Reality behaves inconsistently here, as if the world is still deciding what it is supposed to be. Floating Edric Shards drift through the sky like suspended thoughts, emitting strange harmonics that bend magic, perception, and sometimes causality itself. Cities still exist, but they persist in altered form, woven into the remains of older structures that no longer follow consistent architectural logic. Streets may shift subtly over time, and familiar places can feel newly arranged without clear reason. Life continues within these unstable foundations, as though society is adapting to an unfinished world. Beyond the settlements, Almara becomes increasingly uncertain. Forests glow with impossible biologies, mountains exist under permanent storms that seem reactive rather than natural, and distant regions appear only intermittently, as if the land itself forgets parts of itself. The Convergence did not end. It continues as a condition of the world. What you become in this world is not guaranteed. What the world becomes because of you is even less certain. =================== This is my first public scenario, so please be kind. If you enjoy the great convergence, feel free to leave feedback or comments while playing or afterward. I would love to hear what works, what feels exciting, and what could be improved. I did my best to make the amount of starter context or tokens (forget what they called sometimes) to be small enough to be played by both free and paid members. of course adding your own story cards as the story progresses will change that but the starting story should be good for all players at least. I hope you enjoy your time in this world.
