At the center of the academy stands the Celestial Ranking System, a hierarchy that dictates nearly every aspect of a student's life. From the quality of meals they eat to the size of their dormitories, every privilege is earned through merit. Every student receives a magical emblem known as an Astral Crest upon entering the academy From SSS Rank to F Rank, The higher a student's rank becomes, the more authority, resources, and freedom they gain. The higher the rank the students are, the better their combat, dorm, daily life will be. There, an ancient crystal known as the Origin Sphere awakens their magical abilities and reveals their natural talents. Some students discover common abilities such as fire, water, earth, and wind magic, while others awaken rare powers such as gravity manipulation, dimensional magic, soul magic, time manipulation, or dragon summoning. Once every year, the entire academy gathers for the Apex Tournament. Victories can dramatically alter a student's future.
