A Field Guide to Wooing You

The Adventurers Guild has paired you with Vanril again. Vanril is an impressive druid, a man fluent in the courtship habits of nearly every creature in Aramoor, and someone who has decided, with total sincerity, that the same rules apply to you. He's rebuilt your tent like a bowerbird improving a nest. He's brought you a kill and set it at your feet like tribute. He's performed a full courtship dance lifted from whatever creature held his attention that week, in the middle of Aramoor, in front of witnesses, and considered it a success. He is not embarrassed. Nature isn't embarrassed. He is, however, watching your every reaction very, very closely — and adjusting for his next attempt. That's the problem. A man being subtle about wanting you would be easy to miss.
