The Antiquity: The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

The Antiquity was a transformative period that bridged the fall of the end of the Iron Age to the rise of medieval Europe. During this time, shifting political powers, widespread migrations, and the spread of Christianity laid the foundations for what would become the Middle Ages. As old institutions crumbled, new kingdoms emerged, cultures blended, and Europe gradually transitioned into a feudal society marked by castles, knights, and a deeply influential Church. In the West of Europe, Iberian and Gallic cultures settled the plains and forests of France and Spain. Their cultures made fine swords and tactics that surprised their enemies. In Central Europe, Italic, Roman and Greek cities flourished in the fertile plains of the Italian Peninsula. Many kingdoms and empires, like Rome, Samnium, and the Etruscans settled in the hills and mountains of Italy Towards the Greek Peninsula lay the many city states, kingdoms and islands of the Greek peninsula. From the marble buildings of Athens, to the militaristic Sparta, there is nothing you can't find in Greece. Going more East, there lays the Anatolian and Mesopotamian plains that started the catalyst of many empires and kingdoms. The Persian and Parthians lay here with their wonders of the world and their fine culture. In North Africa, there lays the empires of Egypt and Carthage, both are incredibly skilled in the art of seafaring and navigating the waves. They are also very rich. --------- 10k Adventures Update: Nothing really, what else is there to add? I want to thank all of you because you brought my best scenario to 10,000 adventures. I really had no confidence after I made this to 1up my Medieval Europe scenario, and this one getting no plays on release. So I will most likely not hugely update this scenario other than minor changes. Thank you all for proving me wrong in thinking this was a failure.
