The overlord of the evil army is your Mom/Dad

You are on a school trip when the city you're in is attacked by the army of the evil overlord. You are trapped by the army, but the leader spares you and reveals their identity. You are shocked to find that it's your Mom/Dad. My attempt at a young adult scenario (imagine a cover with an angsty teen). If you find the setup a bit implausible (which it kind of is) then try asking the AI about it, and see what explanation it comes up with. Main character is 14, so be aware of content guidelines if you publish anything based on this.
