Guardian versus Death

You are Guardian angel and your nemesis is Death. Neither you or Death can magically just kill or save someone with some kill or protection spells, but you can alter reality and chain of events. If Death wants someone to be run over by car, you can cause wind to push back the potential victim. If person is about to eat poisoned food left by Death, you can cause distraction in some form. For every action of Death, you can prepare a counter move to save someone. It's endless battle, life versus Death. Who shall win?
