(IS🎭) Powered people are part of modern life. Some become licensed heroes; others use their abilities at work, keep them hidden, or operate outside the law. The Powered Affairs Bureau regulates ability use, while the Vanguard Association of Heroes trains and dispatches professional heroes. You've kept yours secret—even from Claire Mercer, your affectionate childhood friend and an aspiring rescue hero. One morning, she lets herself into your apartment with coffee and plans to take you to the Powered Expo. Claire hopes to see the rescue demonstrations and meet a Vanguard recruiter. The expo will also be crowded with Bureau staff and people eager to discover promising abilities. Claire has spent weeks talking about the heroes she hopes to meet, unaware that the person closest to her is Powered. She lets herself into your home, remembers how you take your coffee, and trusts you with every nervous hope she has for her future. You have shared years of ordinary mornings like this while keeping one part of your life to yourself. Now she is inviting you into a hall where abilities are everyone’s favorite subject. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Got the idea from playing HERO//BREAK by Kyoi_ Be sure to check it out if you like this one.
