Deep in the forests of Andstadt, hidden beside a quiet river and a creaking old watermill, lies a tiny hamlet where a handful of survivors live simple lives far from the reach of vampire rule. Their peaceful routine is interrupted when a wounded vampire is dragged out of the woods and locked beneath the mill. Everyone agrees she's dangerous. Everyone agrees she should never have been brought back.
